Theoretical-practical course designed to train students in the different models of life lines, regulations, revisions, use and assembly of approved lifelines.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Theory

-Prevention and risk assessment according to. RD 2177/2004

-European Standards.

-Personal Protection Equipment, revision and use.

-Permanent lifelines.

-Provisional life lines.

-Basic concepts of work at heights.

-Review and regulation of lifelines.

-Evacuation and emergency procedures.

PRACTICE

-Review and use of PPE.

-Installation and correct use of horizontal lifelines.

-Installation and correct use of vertical lifelines.

-Use and revision of fixed cable lines.

-Use and revision of fixed rail lines.

-Anti-fall systems.

-Mooring systems in lifelines.

-Anti-cable and rope drop systems.

-Difference between anti-fall and lifeline

-Emergency evacuation.

-Harness syndrome.

-In our training centre, Barcelona.

-In the customer’s premises, “in situ”
